(RSM), founders of esportsdesk.com (opens in new window), was formed in 1997 by athletes, for athletes. esportsdesk.com and our custom designed Sports Content Management System (Sports CMS) have continued to improve and grow and we now offer the most comprehensive set of sports administration tools in the industry. Each of our Custom Pro Website owners has the ability to be their own webmaster without any technical expertise, posting information instantly without the need for a technically adept "webmaster". We are constantly upgrading existing features and adding new ones to maintain our position as the industry leader.
In early 2004 RSM Inc. launched its Custom Website Hosting program which led us to launch the esportsdeskpro.com website in 2007. This was simply a response to existing users who wanted to continue to use our Sports CMS while building their own branded website with their own domain name and email addresses. We responded to this request and those users are still being hosted by us today. Like the birth of the Custom Website Program, most of our latest developments have been based on user feedback which we feel is one of our biggest corporate strengths.
Although our Sports CMS software has the ability to run professional level sports, our niche continues to be in amateur and recreational sports. By 2005, our client list began to grow to the extent where the cumulative traffic of each individual Pro website was now large enough to become meaningful to large national advertisers. It soon became apparent that we could help our clients make money by pooling their traffic, so we launched a new Sports Marketing & Entertainment sister website at rsmsportsmedia.com (opens in new window).
